Jimena Returns!

I am absolutely over the moon excited about the prospect of having Jimena Arroyo back as a feature story on my website!!

Not giving anything away. You will just have to keep in touch with me and check Twitter for updates. All I will say is, she is giving me exclusive content and photos. And she is the most magnanimous artist you will ever find.

Her new single out soon, as she has given us exclusive photos and sotryline information that we want to share with you. Stay tuned in December!!!

Excorde is a new alternative rock band made up of Jimena Arroyo, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Jonnie Cook, from Chicago, USA. They met on SoundCloud and have been writing songs together for four years now.

Jimena’s emotional voice combined with Jonnie’s distinctive guitar playing will transport you to another dimension, where catchy choruses, killer guitar riffs and meaningful lyrics are imbued throughout the listening experience with Excorde.

Their songs feature a broad yet cohesive fusion of genres influenced by 80 and 90’s rock bands of adult oriented rock, progressive rock, pop-rock, metal, alternative country rock and their own unique sound. They feel that, within their music, you will identify the best of familiar components of these genres blended seamlessly with a real plethora of new ideas and originality.

Their primary goal is to establish themselves as a songwriting team. Having tested a wide variety of rock genres/styles/nuances/ideas, they feel that, as a whole, they demonstrate a cohesive and recognizable identity on their own.

Throughout 2019, they will be releasing a new single every 5-6 weeks until they complete their first album “Once Upon a Void.”

Hey, Excorders! We have a new song coming out next Friday! It’s a bittersweet ballad called “Consequences.” You can pre-save it here if you want to be one of its first listeners. https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/excorde/consequences
